an E-Commerce Specialist
At Adventure365, we fuel the passion
of outdoor enthusiasts in Northern Ontario. From cycling and running to
cross-country skiing, we provide premium gear and expert advice. We are looking
for a results-driven E-Commerce Specialist to join our team in Sudbury to help
scale our digital storefront, enhance our online presence, and accelerate web
transactions.
Role Overview
The E-Commerce Specialist will manage
and optimize Adventure365’s digital storefront to maximize online traffic,
conversion rates, and revenue. This role bridges the gap between digital
marketing, product merchandising, and inventory data management to create a
seamless multichannel shopping experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Website & Conversion Rate
Optimization (CRO):
• Manage the digital storefront to
ensure accurate product listings, pricing, and stock levels.
• Optimize user experience (UX) on
desktop and mobile to reduce cart abandonment.
• Implement SEO best practices for
product titles, descriptions, and metadata to rank higher on search engines.
• Analyze website analytics using
tools like Google Analytics to track user behavior and sales funnels.
Digital Marketing & Traffic Generation:
• Execute data-driven campaigns across
Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email marketing platforms.
• Develop promotional calendars tied
to seasonal outdoor activities (e.g., cycling, running, skiing).
• Collaborate with content creators to
ensure high-quality visuals and copy match the brand voice.
• Monitor return on ad spend (ROAS)
and adjust digital marketing budgets to maximize profitability.
Inventory & Operations Management:
• Synchronize in-store POS inventory
with the e-commerce platform to avoid overselling.
• Coordinate with fulfillment teams in
Sudbury to streamline order packing and shipping processes.
• Manage product photography and
digital asset workflows for new arrivals.
• Oversee online customer service
related to web orders, returns, and product inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications
• Experience: 2–4 years
managing e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, or Lightspeed eCommerce
preferred).
• Analytics: Strong proficiency
in Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Marketing: Proven track
record running profitable paid search and paid social campaigns.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity
with the Northern Ontario outdoor market, sports trends, and seasonal shifts.
• Attributes: Analytical
mindset, highly organized, and a passion for the outdoor sports industry.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Online Transaction Growth:
Year-over-year percentage increase in completed web sales.
• Conversion Rate: Improvement in the
percentage of website visitors who make a purchase.
• Average Order Value (AOV): Success
of cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
• Traffic Acquisition: Growth in
organic, paid, and referral web traffic.

Salary: $55,000-$75,000
